Cade Mower Earns a Four-Chair Turn on The Voice After Powerful Zach Bryan Cover

Within seconds of Cade Mower beginning his Blind Audition, all four coaches on The Voice turned their chairs — an immediate sign that the Utah father had made a strong impression.
The 35-year-old singer delivered a performance of Zach Bryan’s “Something In The Orange” during the September 28 episode, earning the coveted four-chair turn and setting up a fierce battle among the coaches to recruit him.
A preview of Mower’s audition had been released on YouTube three days before the episode aired and quickly attracted more than 3 million views, building anticipation around which coach would ultimately win him over.
Coaches make their case
After Mower finished singing, Kelly Clarkson, Riley Green, Queen Latifah and Adam Levine each took a turn explaining why he should join their team.
Adam highlighted his previous wins and experience creating unexpected artist pairings, while Queen Latifah focused on the chemistry she believed they could create as an unlikely coaching duo.
She also made one of the night’s biggest predictions about Mower’s potential.
“You can take this whole thing,” Queen told him. “You can definitely take this whole thing. You owned that stage.”
Riley Green connected with Mower over their shared mustaches and their appreciation for songwriting. Rather than focusing solely on vocal perfection, Riley emphasized the importance of delivering lyrics in a way that makes listeners connect with a song.

“You’re a lyric-driven guy,” Riley told him, pointing out that The Voice can be about more than simply hitting every note perfectly.
Kelly Clarkson focuses on strategy
Kelly also wanted to know more about Mower beyond his performance and learned that he is a father, husband and finance professional.

She argued that her experience working with country performers and artists from different musical backgrounds could help him navigate the competition.
For Kelly, succeeding on The Voice involves more than simply having a strong voice. She emphasized knowing when to showcase particular strengths, when to introduce something unexpected and how to explore different genres without losing the qualities that define an artist.
Her pitch centered on helping Mower develop his identity while strategically building on his strengths from one performance to the next.
Cade chooses Team Riley
Despite receiving offers from all four coaches, Mower ultimately made his decision and joined Team Riley.
His choice adds another country artist to Riley Green’s team following a Blind Audition that had already generated significant attention online.
For Mower, the four-chair turn marked a major beginning to his journey on The Voice, while Riley gained a singer who had already impressed every coach in the room with his rendition of “Something In The Orange.”
