When Natalie Colavito hit the blind audition stage of The Voice Australia, she sang a Led Zeppelin cover which turned out to be so epic that judge Adam Lambert couldnât help but jump on stage and belt out the hit with her in a spur-of-the-moment rock concert.
Music Man readers can watch the magic unfold in the video below.
As the iconic Top Of The Pops-soundtracking riff of Led Zepâs âWhole Lotta Loveâ blasts from the studioâs speakers, Natalie lets her bold voice rip through the audience, staggering judges from her very first line.
Sheâs absolutely fearless as she takes on one of the greatest classic rock hits on Earth, the star almost resembling a fiery Demi Lovato in both voice and appearance as she slays the hit at hand.
By the end of her set, Natalie has earned chair turns from three out of four judges: Guy Sebastian, LeAnn Rimes, and Kate Miller-Heidke, surprisingly leaving only rock god Adam Lambert out. But then, Adam reveals whyâŠ
In a wholesome twist, Adam admits that producers had told him that heâs not allowed to snatch any more auditionees for his Season 13 team, after having spun his chair around too many times earlier that season.
However, Adam was utterly blown away by Natalieâs shockingly epic performance and desperately searched for an alternate way of showing his love for the budding star.
He ended up giving Natalie the chance every aspiring rock vocalist dreams of: the chance to duet with a rock god in an impromptu performance. Adam leapt up on stage to hug Natalie before unleashing his own vocals on a second round of the Led Zeppelin classic. As Natalie lent her show-stopping voice to the song for a second time, the pair turned the audition into a full-blown rock concert.
Natalie eventually landed on LeAnnâs team on the thirteenth season, aired in 2024. After singing Hozierâs hit, âTake Me To Church,â in the second stage, the Battle Rounds, Natalie was unfortunately eliminated from the competition. But her blind audition remains one of the most magnificent in Voice AUS history, all thanks to Adamâs searing love and support.
