It takes a lot of courage to stand up in front of a crowd and sing your heart out. For these five best friends, they help each other pursue their collective dream of becoming a boy band.

As the friends take the stage on Britain’s Got Talent, they cite their biggest inspiration as the popular boy band One Direction. Their drive is impressive at only ten years of age.

Their boy band name is Made Up North. They announced to the Britain’s Got Talent judges that they would perform the song “Electricity” from the popular Broadway musical Billy Elliot.

Made Up North lit up the stage and sang their way into the audience’s hearts. Even the judges agreed that the young boys’ performance was electric despite their jittery nerves.

The judges congratulated the boys on their incredible number. The first three votes were unhesitant yeses from everyone except for Simon Cowell. It was down to Simon, who wore a big smile.

He said he would take a chance on the boy band and gave them their final yes. The boys were thrilled about being voted through to the next round of competition.
