Danny Dyer’s Rivals mansion can be yours for a mere £8 million! The palatial Bella Vista featured in the Disney + series is supposed to be nestled in the fictional Cotswolds countryside town of Rutshire, however the property is actually in Cardiff.

EastEnders star, Danny, plays self-made electronics mogul Freddie Jones in Rivals, who resides in the fictional English county of Rutshire. Upon its release in 2024, the show became the platform’s best UK drama that year, quickly emerging as a global success.

The saucy series, which returned for a second helping May 15 before the part one finale today – is based on Dame Jilly Cooper’s book ‘bonkbusters’ – with Danny starring alongside the likes of Dr Who’s David Tennant and Inbetweeners actress, Emily Atack.

A number of scenes from Rivals are filmed at Bella Vista including Freddy wining and dining his guests in the grand dining room as well as one racy sex scene in the swimming pool.

Jemma Friday, an estate agent at Fine and Country, said the mansion, called Foxfield, was “currently south Wales’ most expensive home”, with people already enquiring to see if Freddie Jones star, Danny, had bought it. She added: “If he wants to buy it, I’m really happy to sell it to him”.

Speaking to the BBC about the property’s eye-popping price tag, Jemma said: “I think it warrants that, because it is truly a great property.

“Seeing it on TV, it gives it that grandeur, but actually seeing it in person, it’s really breathtaking.”

There is even a white oak staircase shaped like a rugby ball which is “very on trend for Wales”, according to Jemma.

And there’s even a lift! “It has its own pond and a lift from the very bottom floor that takes you up to the first floor,” she added.

Jemma said she has seen interest from all corners of the globe for the multi-million pound property since it has gone on sale, but no interest from Danny as of yet.

She shared: “We are seeing a huge amount of buyers coming back from the US for instance. People who might want something with heritage and in the countryside.”
