A desperate search is underway after 44-year-old California mom Angelica Brophy mysteriously vanished just moments before she was supposed to pick up her daughter from summer camp. 💔 Seven agonizing days have passed, and newly revealed parking ticket records are helping investigators piece together her final known movements—but the biggest question remains: where did she go? FEARS are growing for the safety of a California mom who disappeared after failing to pick up her daughter from summer camp.

Angelica Brophy, 44, dropped her child off on July 6 yet, according to her brother Ramon Fabregas, didn’t collect her that afternoon.

Surveillance footage shows Brophy leaving Harrah’s Resort Southern California, east of Escondido, at about 3.30pm.

A parking receipt later showed her vehicle entered Palomar Mountain State Park at 4.20pm, a place the avid hiker has reportedly visited in the past.

“She took her daughter to camp and was expected to pick her up that afternoon,” Fabregas said.

“According to her friends from work, they had gone there back in February.”

Fabregas said Brophy’s husband contacted him later that day after he was unable to reach her.

“Her husband called asking if I’d heard from her,” Fabregas said. “I said no.”

The family reported Brophy missing on July 6.

Her vehicle was found three days later at Palomar Mountain State Park, prompting a large-scale search led by the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office

“We found the car Thursday afternoon, and as soon as we found it, we contacted the rangers,” Fabregas said.

Search crews combed more than 1,800 acres of the park using drones, search dogs and dozens of volunteers.

The search ended at the weekend without the authorities finding anything.

“They had a command post, drones, search dogs and about 40 to 50 volunteers on the last day,” Fabregas said.

“They searched the whole park. There was no trace of her.”

On Sunday, family members distributed flyers in Palomar Mountain, Temecula, Rincon and Pauma Valley as relatives traveled from outside the area to assist in the search.

Fabregas said the family’s focus remains on Brophy’s children.

“We’re thinking about the kids,” he said. “We’re a big family. Everyone flew or drove down, and it’s the best time to be together.”

The San Diego County Sheriff’s Office conducted the initial search of Palomar Mountain State Park.

The Oceanside Police Department is now leading the missing person’s investigation.
