He left the apartment complex on Vivion Road at around 11pm, doorbell footage showed, and sleepwalked for around half an hour to the water near The Village at Briarcliff shopping mall, cops say.

Jackson was pulled unresponsive from the water at around 12:30am Thursday and despite attempts to revive him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to Jackson’s sisters, it was not the first time Jackson had sleepwalked into dangerous situations during the night.

They told one reporter that he had recently had three sleepwalking episodes, KMBZ reporter Dana WrightĀ revealedĀ on Facebook.

One of which ended when cops found him sleepwalking on a street inĀ San DiegoĀ and returned him safely home.

This was before he and his family moved to Kansas City where two further sleepwalking incidents took place.

Police say there appear to be no signs of foul play, but his death is being investigated.
