Meghan Markle made a rare guest appearance on TV, stepping in as a guest judge on MasterChef Australia. And, apparently, her husband Prince Harry couldn’t resist the opportunity to crash.
In a clip from Meghan’s appearance, Harry interrupts the show with a video call for his wife. “Sorry to interrupt, we’ve had a phone call to studio,” a production assistant says in the clip as he passes the confused Meghan a phone.
Upon seeing Harry on the screen, she smiled and said, “Hi, my love!” She added to the crowd, “My husband’s here!”

“What’s going on? Have I interrupted something important?” Harry replied with a smile, as Meghan showed her screen to her fellow judges.
“Well, we are actually in the middle of tasting all the dishes. We have four incredible cooks here,” she told her husband. “It’s amazing, they’re so talented. We wish you were here.”
She then added to her fellow judges, “He’s in Canberra right now with the veterans.”
“I wish you could try this. These dishes are fantastic,” she went on to Harry. “It’s really delicious, and there’s a hot sauce that, well, you know me … it is so good. I think it might be too much for you. It’s spicy.”
Harry replied, “Well, go and enjoy it. I’m very sorry to disturb you. All is well here. I’ll see you later.”
“Okay, I’ll see you later. Say bye to everybody!” Meghan said, once again showing Harry to the judges, contestants, live audience, and crew. “I love you, talk to you later,” she signed off.
After the call, Meghan smiled and remarked, “He’s a charmer, isn’t he?”
Meghan and Harry were in Australia in April when the episode was filmed.
