Prince William ‘Incandescent With Anger’ Over Prince Harry as Royal Rift Continues

Prince William is still deeply angry with his estranged brother Prince Harry and is unlikely to meet with him anytime soon, according to broadcaster Piers Morgan, as the long-running royal feud shows little sign of ending.

The Prince of Wales and the Duke of Sussex are believed to have had little or no meaningful contact for years. While Harry’s return to the UK has raised speculation about a possible reconciliation with their father, King Charles, the prospect of a meeting between Harry and William appears far more distant.

Morgan has claimed that William remains furious over the way Harry has publicly discussed the Royal Family, particularly through his Netflix series Harry & Meghan, his memoir Spare and various interviews and podcasts.

Piers Morgan says William has had enough

Speaking to Fox News, Morgan said the brothers “don’t speak to each other and haven’t done so for years.”

He went on to describe William as “absolutely incandescent with anger” over what he believes Harry has done to the Royal Family.

Morgan pointed specifically to Harry’s public criticism of the monarchy, including his book, television projects and podcasts, as well as his comments about members of the family.

The broadcaster also highlighted Harry’s criticism of William’s wife, Catherine, Princess of Wales, as well as Queen Camilla and King Charles.

“Harry took out the spray gun,” Morgan said, arguing that family members on the receiving end of such attacks were unlikely to simply move past them.

Morgan added that his sympathies were with William, whom he described as a “thoroughly honourable, decent young man” who had reached the point of wanting nothing more to do with his brother.

Harry has reportedly reached out

The latest claims come amid renewed speculation about whether the brothers could eventually repair their relationship.

According to journalist Rob Shuter, Harry has attempted to make contact with William, but the Prince of Wales has not responded.

A source quoted in Shuter’s Substack claimed: “Harry has reached out. William isn’t responding. There is no meaningful communication with William or Catherine. Charles is willing to move forward. William is not.”

The comments suggest a significant difference in attitude between King Charles and his eldest son when it comes to Harry.

While Charles is reportedly open to moving forward, William is said to remain unwilling to resume a meaningful relationship with his younger brother.

Harry’s public criticism deepened the divide

The relationship between William and Harry deteriorated dramatically after Harry and Meghan stepped back from royal duties and moved to the United States.

The brothers’ private disagreements later became public through interviews, the Netflix documentary series and Harry’s 2023 memoir Spare, in which the Duke made a series of highly personal claims about his family and his relationship with William.

Harry’s public revelations have repeatedly been cited as one of the major obstacles to repairing the relationship.

For William, the dispute is also complicated by criticism directed at Catherine and other members of the Royal Family.

As a result, hopes that the brothers might simply put their differences aside have repeatedly been challenged by fresh claims about the state of their relationship.

A reconciliation remains uncertain

Harry’s previous return visits to Britain have generated speculation about whether he might meet with his brother, but there has been little indication of a genuine breakthrough between the pair.

The possibility of Harry rebuilding his relationship with King Charles has appeared more realistic in recent reports, while William is portrayed as remaining firmly opposed to reconciliation for now.

With the royal feud continuing to attract intense public attention, any future meeting between the brothers would likely represent a significant development.

For the moment, however, claims from Morgan and sources cited by Shuter suggest that the deep rift between William and Harry remains unresolved.
