Princess Lilibet has made a rare appearance in a new batch of photographs from the Sussexes’ life in Britain—and the sweet moment was easy to miss.
The five-year-old daughter of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appeared in a photo shared by Meghan’s close friend Kelly McKee Zajfen, who recently travelled from California to visit the family in the UK.
In the candid image, Lilibet is dressed in pink and sits beside Zajfen’s baby son, Jack, as the two spend time together.
The photograph offered a glimpse of the young royal as she settles into life in Britain following her family’s move back to the country last month.

Zajfen shared the photographs on Instagram on Wednesday, September 23, documenting her visit with Meghan, Harry and their children.
The carousel included several relaxed moments with the Sussexes, but it was the image of Lilibet with baby Jack that particularly stood out.
The young princess can be seen sitting on a sofa while interacting with the baby, who was born in March.
Lilibet and her older brother, Prince Archie, recently began attending school in the UK after the family arrived in England on August 26. Their return marks a new chapter for the children after years living in California.
Zajfen’s post provided one of the more personal glimpses into that new chapter, with the Sussex family appearing to spend time together away from the public spotlight.

Meghan’s longtime friend visits the Sussexes
Zajfen has been close to Meghan for almost two decades, and the pair have remained friends through some of the biggest moments in their lives.
The Alliance of Moms co-founder travelled from California with her young son Jack to spend time with Meghan and experience her friend’s new life in Britain.
In her Instagram caption, Zajfen described the trip as a special opportunity to see this new chapter through Meghan’s eyes.
“Having the best time,” she wrote, adding that there was something special about experiencing the UK with her best friend and having Jack along for the adventure.
She also mentioned the family time they shared, including mashed peas and fish and chips, before thanking the people they had encountered during the visit for being welcoming to Meghan.
“We’re leaving with full hearts and definitely leaving a piece of ours here,” Zajfen wrote.
She finished the message by saying it had been “beautiful to witness” the warm reception Meghan had received and added: “She missed you too!”
Sweet moments with Harry and Meghan
Lilibet was not the only member of the Sussex family to appear in Zajfen’s collection of photographs.
One image showed Meghan holding baby Jack during what appeared to be a relaxed outing at a British pub. A plate of fish and chips could be seen on the table, adding another distinctly British detail to the family visit.
Another photograph showed Prince Harry down on the floor playing with the baby.
The relaxed scenes offered a glimpse of the Sussexes away from formal royal engagements, with the family spending time with one of Meghan’s closest friends and her son.
The carousel also included a photograph of Meghan, Zajfen and longtime friend Marcus Anderson enjoying a game of mahjong together outdoors.

A friendship spanning nearly 20 years
Zajfen and Meghan’s friendship goes back many years, long before Meghan became the Duchess of Sussex.
Zajfen has previously spoken publicly about Meghan’s support for her family, particularly following the death of her nine-year-old son, George “Georgie” Oliver, in 2022 after a viral illness.
Meghan has remained a close friend during that difficult period, and Zajfen has described her as someone who has been by her side throughout the years.
Zajfen and her husband Julian later welcomed their son Jack in March. They are also parents to George’s twin sister, Lily.
Her latest visit therefore brought together two families with a longstanding friendship, while also giving the public a rare look at Lilibet during her first weeks of this latest chapter in the UK.
For many viewers, however, it was the small appearance of Lilibet on the sofa—dressed in pink and spending time with baby Jack—that became the most memorable detail of the entire photo collection.
