“Much love, Wayne x”
His followers raced to share their support for the star and to send their well wishes.
It comes 11 years after Wayne battled prostate cancer.
Wayne previously opened up about his recovery, telling the Mirror in 2016 that he noticed his PSA levels were initially raised back in 2010 and was told to continue having tests for the next few years.
But in April 2015, Wayne’s PSA levels came back noticeably raised.
After waiting three months to test it again, doctors told him that the levels were still high.
He said: “In July, the levels were still high, and so I had another MRI and biopsy.
“This time I was told I had prostate cancer.
“Those words shake you to your core. My doctor said they had caught it early and outlined the options.
“He said I could have radiotherapy, which would have meant several visits to hospital.
“But I was going to film The Real Marigold Hotel in India and I didn’t want to miss that opportunity.
“The other option we discussed was brachytherapy where tiny radioactive pellets are put into the prostate to kill the cancer. So I went for that. I didn’t really discuss my illness with many people.”
Wayne competed on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here in 2003 and came fourth.
He was also a judge on ITV dance show, Stepping Out, alongside Mel B and Jason Gardiner in 2013.
Wayne appeared in BBC’s 2016 mini-series The Real Marigold Hotel where he joined a group of celebrity pensioners on a journey to India.
Tour which saw him, Miriam Margolyes, Rosemary Shrager and Bobby George travel the world.
He was also involved in a special 20th-anniversary show to celebrate the Full Monty.
