Ariana Grande gave London fans a moment they won’t soon forget when Cynthia Erivo suddenly joined her onstage during her Eternal Sunshine tour.

The surprise appearance brought the two Wicked co-stars together once again, as Grande and Erivo performed “For Good,” the emotional centerpiece of Wicked: For Good, in front of a packed audience at London’s O2 Arena.

For fans who watched the pair bring Glinda and Elphaba to life on the big screen, seeing them reunite in person was an especially fitting surprise.

But the night didn’t stop there.

After performing “For Good,” Grande and Erivo also teamed up for a medley of “Get Happy” and “Happy Days Are Here Again,” giving the audience another unexpected showcase of their chemistry and vocal power.

The appearance comes as Grande’s massive Eternal Sunshine tour enters its final stretch.

The singer is scheduled to conclude the tour with a 10-night run at London’s O2 Arena, with the final performance set for Sept. 1.

The emotional reunion also arrives at a significant moment in Grande’s career.

Earlier this month, the singer announced that she plans to take a step back from public-facing work once the tour comes to an end. The decision also means she will no longer appear in a planned London West End revival of Stephen Sondheim’s Sunday in the Park With George, which would have reunited her with another Wicked co-star, Jonathan Bailey.

Grande later addressed the decision directly with fans, making clear that it was not a sudden reaction to outside pressure.

Instead, she said it was something she had quietly planned for a long time.

The singer emphasized that taking a break was a deliberate choice and one she had made from an “empowered” place.

For Grande, however, the remaining Eternal Sunshine shows are still a celebration rather than a farewell.

Her representatives previously said she wanted to finish the tour “on a high note” before taking a much-needed break from public appearances.

And her London reunion with Erivo certainly delivered one of those high points.

The timing is particularly poignant given the enormous success of the Wicked films, which transformed Grande and Erivo’s on-screen partnership into one of the most recognizable musical pairings of recent years.

Their performance of “For Good” therefore carried an added emotional weight — especially for fans who have followed their journey from the first Wicked movie to its sequel.

With Grande’s final London dates still ahead, fans now have plenty of reasons to wonder what other surprises could be waiting at the O2.

But after Cynthia Erivo walked onto that stage, one thing was clear: Glinda and Elphaba still know exactly how to make an entrance.
