Wake up, The Morning Show fans! The first photos of Sean Hayes in Season 5 of the Apple TV series just dropped.

In March, Deadline announced that Hayes would be joining the series as Wyatt, Brodie “Bro” Hartman’s (Boyd Holbrook) quick-witted older brother and manager. Hartman is a podcaster who was hired by UBA in Season 4 and has unexpected chemistry with Alex Levy (Jennifer Aniston). Hayes will have a “major recurring role.”

New images of Hayes’ character were released on Getty Images. In them, Hayes is standing in Central Park in New York City with Billy Crudup, who plays network executive Cory Ellison. Hayes does not look happy to see Crudup, as he wears a scowl on his face. He dons a light blue button-down shirt under a navy button-up cardigan and jeans. He has a sneaker on his left foot and a boot cast on the right.

Crudup is seen standing with his arms folded as the two men talk on the park bridge. Hayes puts his hand in his jeans pocket as they talk. An urn, of who is presumably Ellison’s mom’s ashes, sits on the bridge behind them.

It is not clear what the men would be talking about, but one of the photos shows Crudup sitting on the bridge, looking sad as he stares down at the urn as Hayes walks up behind him.

Hayes, Crudup, and Aniston will be joined by Reese Witherspoon as Bradley Jackson. Mark Duplass, Karen Pittman, Nestor Carbonell, Nicole Beharie, and Jon Hamm are all expected to return.

Jeff Daniels joins the show this season as Lukas, described as a self-made billionaire and founder of an investment firm. Singer Reneé Rapp is set to have a major recurring role as Samantha, a rising star in the UBN news team.

A premiere date has not yet been set for Season 5. Season 4 just dropped in the fall of 2025, so it might be a while before the next season is out, especially if the show is just filming in June. Fans will have to wait a little longer to find out what Wyatt and Cory are discussing.
