‘AGT’ 2026: The Devil Himself Goes Viral as Stand-Up Comedian ‘Lou’ Takes the Stage

Every AGT 21 Act That Auditioned in Episode 7: A Yes or an X?

LOS ANGELES — America’s Got Talent has seen its fair share of unusual acts over the past two decades, but the Season 21 auditions brought a literal demon to the stage. In a hilariously absurd audition, a red-horned stand-up comedian named Lou—claiming to be the Devil himself—attempted to rebrand his image with a barrage of pun-filled, fiery dad jokes.

A Devilish PR Rebrand

Dressed in a sharp suit and making a grand entrance, Lou explained that he had spent “a few hundred years” honing his comedy, though this was his very first time performing on a real stage.

“I’m just trying to rebrand,” Lou joked after stepping off the pitch-black elevator. “A lot of people think I’m scary, too, but I’m just a good guy.”

Lou’s routine was packed with rapid-fire, hellishly clever puns that had the judges and crowd groaning and giggling in equal measure:

  • The Blazer: “You like my blazer? It’s Prada. Obviously, I got it at Demon Marcus. They were having a fire sale.”

  • The Fitness Routine: “I got to hit the gym. I got to work on that 666-pack, you know.”

  • Dating Life: “My girl’s a vegan. She prefers Satan… We make prank videos together, but our page is demonetized.”

  • High School Days: “The last time I was on stage, I was in my high school orchestra. I was in the horn section!”

Lou’s stand-up is devilishly funny. #AGT Tonight 8/7c | @NBC and next day on Peacock

While comedy is notoriously subjective on the AGT stage, Lou managed to win over three of the four judges:

  • Sofía Vergara found the act charmingly bizarre and handed him his first YES.

  • Howie Mandel and Mel B were won over by the relentless absurdity of the character, giving him two more YES votes.

  • Simon Cowell, however, wasn’t feeling the hellish humor and delivered a NO—joking that he had been “having a conversation” with a higher power who advised against it.

With three solid votes in his favor, Lou officially advanced to the next round of the competition.

“Thank you, Los Angeles. Sorry about the heat—my bad!”
