A “gripping” and “dark” BBC crime drama has left viewers on the edge of their seats

Audiences are being encouraged to discover a twisted thriller that revolves around a couple who uncover a body in their newly acquired flat.
What Remains is a British television drama penned by Tony Basgallop and helmed by Coky Giedroyc. The show premiered in August 2013, running for a single season.
The narrative opens with the discovery of human remains in a tenement building’s attic. The deceased is identified as Melissa Young, a young woman who owned the top-floor apartment and whose passing had remained undetected for two years. Detective Len Harper promptly begins an inquiry into Melissa’s death, rejecting his colleagues’ assumptions that she took her own life.
The official synopsis states: “A young couple move into an apartment only to find the body of a young woman that had been missing for two years but never registered as missing, which leads to a deeper investigation into what actually happened,” reports the Express.
