Florida Georgia Line is back!
The country duo, made up of members Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley, officially reunited during the first night of CMA Fest.
Fans haven’t seen Florida Georgia Line perform on a major stage together since 2022, when the pair announced they were taking an indefinite hiatus.
After the shocking announcement, rumors quickly started spreading about why the duo was going their separate ways.
Many fans believed Hubbard and Kelley had experienced tension because of their differing political views. However, neither artist ever confirmed those rumors.
In a 2024 episode of Bussin’ with the Boys, Hubbard touched on their breakup and said that it mainly came down to Kelley wanting to pursue a solo career.
After the split, it was pretty much radio silence between Hubbard and Kelley. But fans started to feel hopeful about a reunion when the two were spotted together at the 2025 CMA Awards.
They even posed for photos together, so whatever issues they had seemed to have been worked out.
Since then, Hubbard and Kelley have been hinting at a full-time comeback.
Back in March, they surprised fans by performing together for the first time since announcing their hiatus during Jason Aldean’s celebration of 31 chart-topping hits.
Then, just before CMA Fest, a mysterious billboard popped up in downtown Nashville that read “FGL LFG.” It included a phone number that fans could text to sign up for Florida Georgia Line updates.
Florida Georgia Line Reunites At CMA Fest
Well, the anticipation is finally over! On Thursday night, June 4, Florida Georgia Line officially reunited on stage, making their long-awaited return during CMA Fest at Nissan Stadium.
FGL’s reunion was introduced by none other than legendary announcer Michael Buffer. The moment felt like a true UFC match, as Buffer delivered his iconic line, “Let’s get ready to rumble!”
Hubbard and Kelley then made their way through the massive crowd up to the stage. During their performance, they sang two of their chart-topping hits: “Cruise” and “Round Here.”
