King Charles provides ’emotional security’ boost to Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet
Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet reunited with their grandfather King Charles and Queen Camilla in their first UK visit since 2022.

The seven-year-old Archie and five-year-old Lilibet traveled to Britain alongside their mother Meghan Markle to reunite with their father Prince Harry during his latest visit to his home country. Although Harry had arrived on Monday, he had not met with King Charles until Friday, when the family of four visited the monarch and Queen Camilla together.
The intimate family gathering took place at Highgrove and was kept entirely private. While the details of their conversations may never be revealed, one leading expert has emphasized the significance of Harry’s children building a relationship with the King.
Experts note that strong bonds with grandparents can profoundly benefit children’s development, particularly in terms of the “emotional security” they provide.
Speaking exclusively to The Daily Express, global family expert and childcare specialist Supernanny Jo Frost said, “Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet have had the opportunity to spend time with their grandfather, King Charles III, and Queen Camilla and I’m absolutely delighted.”

The expert continued, “Grandparents play an incredibly important role in a child’s life. They offer children another layer of unconditional love, emotional security, family history, wisdom, patience & understanding with a sense of belonging. They help children understand where they come from, strengthen their identity, and create memories and traditions that can stay with them for a lifetime.”
Frost went on to add, “As a professional who has spent four decades working with families these connections aren’t just lovely moments they can contribute to a child’s emotional resilience, confidence and overall wellbeing.”
Frost further stated that Archie and Lilibet should not lose out on family time as a consequence of Harry and Meghan’s “conflict” with certain royals.

It remains unclear whether the family met with any additional royal relatives this week, though they are understood to have been staying with Harry’s uncle Earl Charles Spencer at Althorp.
This is the location of Harry’s mother, the late Princess Diana’s, final resting place, with the family anticipated to spend time there.
