Meghan Markle shared a warm and personal moment with pregnant singer Pia Toscano during a glamorous charity gala in Canada, offering the expectant mother a few heartfelt words after her performance.
The Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry attended the event for the David Foster Foundation, joining a host of guests for the star-studded evening.
Meghan Congratulates Pregnant Singer
Pia Toscano performed “Feeling Good” for the audience before approaching Harry and Meghan, who were seated at the head table.
After the performance, Meghan spoke with the singer about her pregnancy and congratulated her on the upcoming arrival. According to Toscano, Meghan immediately gave her a hug before telling her: “This is the most beautiful time of your life.”

Toscano also revealed that Harry offered to move a chair for her during their interaction.
The brief exchange appeared to strike a personal chord for Meghan, who has frequently spoken about her own experiences as a mother to Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5.
Meghan Calls Motherhood Her “Superpower”
Meghan has previously described motherhood as a major source of strength in her life.
While promoting Cookie Queens, the latest documentary from Archewell Productions, Meghan took part in a Q&A with children for InStyle. When asked what she considered her superpower, she answered without hesitation: “Being a mum.”
She explained that mothers have to manage many responsibilities at once, saying they can “juggle it all” while approaching life with both grace and determination.
Meghan was also asked what makes her feel brave during moments of self-doubt. Her answer centered on her daughter Lilibet.
She recalled thinking, “Lili would do it,” when she finds herself wondering whether she can handle something.
Harry and Meghan Share Behind-the-Scenes Moments
Meghan also gave followers a glimpse inside the charity gala through a series of photos and videos posted on Instagram.
One clip showed the couple walking through a corridor surrounded by pipers and drummers dressed in traditional kilts.

At the beginning of the video, Meghan smiled and remarked, “My husband loves bagpipes!”
As they continued through the venue, she reacted enthusiastically, saying, “Oh my god, this is amazing!”
Harry then joked with the musicians, asking, “Where are mine?” before correcting himself and noting that the group featured not only pipers but also “pipes and drums.”
Meghan later shared a selfie of herself and Harry smiling together at the event.

For the formal occasion, Meghan wore an elegant black one-shoulder evening gown by Canadian designer Greta Constantine, styled with her signature slicked-back bun and diamond earrings that previously belonged to Princess Diana.
Harry attended in a tuxedo as the couple took part in the evening’s charity celebrations.
