Prince Harry is reportedly considering a much more regular presence in the UK after his latest reunion with King Charles III and other members of his family left him encouraged about spending more time at home.
The Duke of Sussex is said to want to return to Britain “every few months” following an hour-long family meeting earlier this summer that was described by a source as “energising.” The change could also allow Harry to devote more attention to the charities he supports, now that his legal battles with British news outlets have concluded.
A source close to Harry suggested that the Duke is responding to how recent visits have gone and believes there is an opportunity to spend more time in the UK.

Speaking to The Times, the source said the arrangements for his recent trips had “been working well” and that visits were expected to become more frequent, particularly as Harry prepares for the Invictus Games in Birmingham.
The source added that Harry wants his future visits to focus more heavily on his charitable commitments, with less attention surrounding the courtroom disputes that have dominated some of his previous trips.
“He wants more of a foothold here, more trips back, less courtroom drama,” the source said, adding that Harry also “always loves seeing his family.”
A Significant Family Reunion
Harry’s latest reunion with King Charles took place in July and included Meghan Markle, as well as their children, Archie and Lilibet.
The meeting lasted around an hour and was the first of its kind in nearly a year. The previous meeting had taken place in September 2025, making the reunion particularly significant as Harry looks ahead to next year’s Invictus Games in Birmingham.
Harry and his family had travelled into the UK from an unspecified location in Europe. Reports had initially suggested that Meghan, Archie and Lilibet would not join him, but the family ultimately attended the meeting.
Buckingham Palace gave only limited confirmation that the reunion had taken place, while an aide declined to provide further details. No photographs of the meeting were released.

If Harry does begin travelling to Britain more frequently, the visits could also give him additional opportunities to spend time with his family while continuing his charitable work.
Harry’s UK Charity Work
The Duke remains connected to several UK-based charities. Among them is WellChild, where he serves as patron, a role he highlighted during a visit to Birmingham Children’s Hospital earlier this year.
His charitable activities could become a greater part of future trips as he seeks to spend more time in Britain.
Harry has also reportedly planned to redirect funds from the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund away from Sentebale and toward Elephants Without Borders, an elephant charity based in Botswana.
The charity has since named two elephants in its care after Harry’s children, Archie and Lili, in recognition of his support.
Harry left Sentebale, the charity he co-founded in memory of his late mother Princess Diana, in 2025.
