Juliet’s Blind Audition Ends Without a Chair Turn — But With a Special Duet

At just 17, Juliet has already found a way to turn a personal challenge into part of her musical journey. Born with only one hand, she plays left-handed guitar with the help of a prosthetic and hopes her music can inspire others to pursue their dreams.
For her Blind Audition, Juliet performed Lainey Wilson’s “Things a Man Oughta Know.” Despite her talent and determination, nerves got the better of her during the performance, and none of the Coaches turned their chairs.
A Young Musician With a Powerful Goal
Juliet has used social media to share her music, with her Instagram videos attracting attention from musicians including Riley Green, who has both seen and liked her performances.
Her story is about more than simply learning to play guitar. By adapting to play left-handed with a prosthetic, the 17-year-old hopes to encourage other people to chase their own dreams.
That determination was evident as she stepped onto The Voice stage, although the pressure of the Blind Audition proved difficult to overcome.
Riley Green Joins Her on Stage

Although Juliet did not receive a chair turn, the night still ended on a memorable note.
After the audition, Riley Green joined Juliet on stage, giving the young singer an opportunity to perform alongside him. Together, they sang Green’s song “Don’t Mind If I Do.”

While Juliet’s Blind Audition did not lead to a spot on a Coach’s team, the unexpected duet with Green gave her a positive ending to the night and a chance to share the stage with a musician who had already taken notice of her work online.
