Meghan Markle discussed her true feelings about pregnancy in a heart-to-heart chat with a US star. During an encounter with pregnant American Idol Alum Pia Toscano at the David Foster Gala, Meghan congratulated her on her pregnancy after her performance.
Pia has since spoken about Meghan, sharing that she made a sweet comment about pregnancy being “the most beautiful time of your life”. Meghan welcomed her first child, a son named Archie, with Harry in May 2019. The couple, just one year after stepping back from royal duties, welcomed their second child, a daughter named Lilibet, in 2021.

Speaking to Page Six, the singer, who is expecting her first child with husband Carmen Educate, revealed what Meghan said to her about pregnancy.
As well as congratulating her, Meghan also touched Toscano’s baby bump before telling her, “This is the most beautiful time of your life.”
Pia is already a stepmother to her husband’s five children from a previous relationship, and says they’ve taught her so much about love, patience and being a parent.
She is due to give birth to their first child together, a daughter, in December.

During an episode of her Archetypes podcast in 2022, Meghan told guest Serena William that when she was pregnant, she “just waddled around.”
She then admitted: “I was just tired. So tired. Oh my God.”
Meghan also spoke about her friend’s reaction to seeing pictures of her wearing heels whilst pregnant with Archie. She said that her friend told her, “You have the most enormous bump and your tiny little ankles are bracing themselves in these high heels.”
