Country star Post Malone shared some disappointing news for fans as he has abruptly axed 6 dates on his upcoming tour with Jelly Roll.
Post Malone (legally Austin Richard Post) took to his Instagram Stories informing his fans that he has made the hard decision to cut dates on his Big A– Stadium Tour Part 2 with Jelly Roll. The six scrapped stadium dates included El Paso, Waco, Baton Rouge, Birmingham, Tampa, and Oxford.
Post Malone’s decision to axe the dates came shortly after Jelly Roll was in the midst of some intense backlash after he made some questionable remarks, leading many to think he is pro-MAGA. But Post Malone assured that this was not the reasoning for the cancellations, but rather due to poor time management. It comes after Taylor Swift revealed his nickname for her amid their unexpected relationship.
In his announcement, the 30-year-old singer penned, “Looking at the upcoming schedule after stagecoach, I came to the realization that what we were trying to do, and what’s possible, isn’t really lining up. Truth is, I promised y’all beautiful people new music, and I don’t have the time to finish it before tour starts.”
He continued, “We ain’t ready for tour just yet, so I’m making the decision to push the tour back about 3 weeks to get this music done. That being said, I’m so sorry to the folks who were planning on coming to the few canceled shows. I was looking forward to going nuts with y’all.”

The What Don’t Belong to Me hitmaker went on to apologize to his fans that have already purchased their tickets and shared his excitement to release his next album titled The Eternal Buzz. This marks the singer’s seventh studio album and is expected to feature 40 songs split into two discs.
After the announcement, many took to a newly posted Reddit thread sharing their upset reactions to the news and Post Malone’s association with Jelly Roll.
One critic posted, “I’m sorry? You’re pushing back a tour bc you didn’t finish your new music? How are you going to know any of it for the tour? Kind of sounds like the music is being rushed too. Only postponing by 3 weeks? Posty used to be good, smh.”

Another added, “I’m not even getting into the MAGA of it all; I just would have more respect for these artists if they were upfront and said ‘Hey. This didn’t pan out like we expected and we haven’t filled enough seats.’ Everyone making up a different bulls–t excuse is annoying lol.”
While a third chimed in, “This is a result of not reading the room. People are poor, can’t afford food, social services are getting gutted left & right, and you are touring with a MAGA artist. We need to be a little smarter, Mr. Malone.”
Yet another posted, “The excuses for these artists are annoying as f–k. ‘I’m not ready yet. I’m still making music.’ Then don’t f—–g plan a tour, you a–hole. And Meghan with her ‘I’m focusing on family.’ Really? Ya didn’t know you were having a whole a– baby? Again, don’t plan a tour if you’re heavily pregnant. Or just be honest.”
It comes as a picture of Jelly Roll cozying up to an unpopular political figure resurfaces after ‘dumb redneck’ comment.
