A body has been found during the search for 17-year-old Mason Pinsent, who disappeared after getting into an Uber in Plymouth.
Police searching for the teenager discovered the body in woodland off Crownhill Road on Thursday, prompting detectives and forensic officers to attend the scene.
Mason was reported missing on Wednesday evening, sparking an urgent search after concerns were raised for his welfare.

Mason was last seen getting into an Uber in the Stoke area of Plymouth.
The teenager was then driven to an unknown destination, with police believing he had remained somewhere in the city.
But the search took a tragic turn the following day when officers discovered a body in woodland.
Formal identification has not yet taken place, but Mason’s family has been informed of the devastating discovery.

Devon and Cornwall Police said: “We are saddened to confirm that a body has been found in the search for a missing 17-year-old from Plymouth.
“While formal identification has yet to take place, the family of missing teenager Mason Pinsent has been informed.
“Our thoughts are with them at this incredibly difficult time.”
Police said the death is not currently being treated as suspicious and that a file will be prepared for HM Coroner.
